Memories Poem by Walterrean Salley

Memories

Rating: 5.0

Places I remember,
Filled with joy and rife—
Thriving, booming,
And echoing with life,
Are now bare and silent—
Alone in the sun;
Just a remnant
Of those times of fun.

Time brings change,
I’ve heard it said;
But, my, what change
Such time has made.

Short but very succinct... there's a novel's worth of content in those 12 lines - really good.
