Melodramatic Luxury Poem by Aiden Florence

Melodramatic Luxury

Another delightful day passes by
Giving a new life to spring luxury
Hummingbirds sing a tone
Realizing the beauty to be alone

Sometimes, daydreams are all you need
To make you feel like you’re in heaven
The world is so astonishing
It’s so hard not to feel magnificent at a place like this

Tonight we’ll play around
Pretending to be the kings and queens
We’ll go back to where we fell
To bring back the affection you couldn’t tell

How much more beauty will we need
Before we reach the point,
I can be the prince to lift you up off the floor
And engage in an eternal kiss
