Melodramatic Poem by Ima Ryma

Mountie hero, Dudley Do-Right,
Dim-witted but cheerful good soul.
Damsel in distress, Nell, in plight,
Dudley to save her, his main goal.
Cuz Snidely Whiplash, villain vile,
Has kidnapped Nell to be his bride,
And is dragging her down the aisle.
Dudley does confront evil Snide.
Dudley tells Nell to run away.
His horse outside does wait for her.
Dudley will force Snidely to stay.
Damsel Nell must be saved for sure.

While the two do fight, Nell of course
Does do elope with Dudley's horse.
