Meller's Chameleon - Lincoln Park Zoo Poem by Ima Ryma

Meller's Chameleon - Lincoln Park Zoo

Meller's chameleon is my name.
Changing colors - yes I can do.
And changing address - I am game,
Now reside at Lincoln Park Zoo.
In the Small Reptile House find me,
Prob'ly hanging out on a limb.
Still a juvenile lizard be.
From the tip of horn on my rim
To the end of my can curl tail,
I will grow to two feet or more.
My mood determines color scale.
Bug gets in tongue range - I will score.

Independent rotating eyes,
All about I visualize.
