The meeting began with broad smiles
Warm handshakes, honey sweet words
Lots of words were aired in exchange
Much of talk was nice and noisy
Time crept slowly towards departure
The sun withdrew with its rays
Darkness began its nightly reign
Smiles while parting were overtly sweet
Nobody listened to what heart had to say
