I like pigs,
they’re a lot like me.
They play in
all the mud they see.
And pigs are funny
and pigs are cute,
(but I’m not bacon
in a pink skin suit) .
One end is curly,
one end is flat,
and the in-between
is short and fat,
and when pigs talk
to other boars,
they sound like Daddy
when he snores.
Some pigs are black.
some pigs are pink,
and sometimes pigs
can really stink,
but that’s okay,
‘cause I can, too.
I still like pigs.
Tell me, do you?
Cute children's poem. I like the last 5 lines, too. :) Sincerely, Connie Webb

Love this piece. So cute and pink and porkie without being patronising (love daddy's snoring, too) . It is musical and lively and a delight to read again and again. Oh how I look forward to having grandchildren so I can read your poems to them... Allie xxxxxxxx
