Along life's path are twists and turns
Twists and turns some full of thorns
So many get disheartened and wonder why
And so they cry and ask; why? Why? Why?
Twists and turns
Briars, thistles and thorns
Dents and dings
Most times, they are not literally what they seem.
So bit by bit
A cut here, a cut there
A pound here, a pound there
A press here, a press there
As the potter performs piece by piece
Grace is to endure the heat
As it forms and fit
Behold, the Masterpiece!
