Mary's Song (Luke 1: 46) Poem by JoAnn McGrath

Mary's Song (Luke 1: 46)

Rating: 5.0

Mary you were so highly favored
God picked the one that would not waver
And He let you come to Him and ask
'How was I picked for this task'

You walked this earth as a common peasant
When life was hard and very unpleasant
You knew the bible verses by heart
Of which your song lovingly imparts

For many you refer to in your song
Your humble faith shines so strong
We understand why God chose you
And are thankful that you saw it through
