Mary's Joy



I'm expectant from Your Word
Holy Spirit fill my womb
Thy rapture now enfolds me
In the quiet of my room

Thy handmaid found great favor
I rejoice with holy fervor
My soul doth magnify thee, Lord
My estate has changed forever

For He who is almighty
Hath wrought great things in me
And all shall call me blessed
As Thy great name is Holy

So that just like me, believers
Through ages yet to come
Can birth within a Savior
By the blessed one become
