Did I already lose you
To what you think you should be
Or are you already lost
In all that you feel
Do you sleep well
While I'm awake
Or do you think of her
With her smell still on your
hands, in your hair..
Have you forgotten our lips
in touch,
To the vibrations you get
at every puff
Do you ever look back
And wish you were still
Where you and I were a top priority?
Regret can't bring you closer
Pride keeps you so far away
In the dark you're surrounded
Lights fading into smoke
One shot is never enough
She keeps you in a trance
Even in your sleep, she lies
in your thoughts
Until the urge is so great
And by now, I know
it's too late
One last breath,
I dive in to meet you
