Martin Luther King Poem by Jan Oskar Hansen

Martin Luther King

Martin Luther King

It is 50 years since he was shot dead
It shocked America and naturally uproar and looting
by the black population followed.
I remember the man because he saw that poverty
is the enemy and we must try to eradicate it.
For the black population not so much have changed
a horde of young black men have no education and
live by gang violence and drugs.
The white live outside towns and pretend no to see
that there is cancer in their midst.
A massive amount of money must be spent to give
the unfortunate an education which is a way out of poverty.
If that doesn't help inter-marriage is a good solution in the USA today it is up 17%,
but will a darkening America be a better place?
No, it will not unless we tackle poverty.
