Today is my mommas birthday

Although she's been gone for awhile

I miss her laugh, strength, determination

and still envision her beautiful smile.


Such a loving and caring heart she possessed

making friends wherever she'd go

but if her kindness was seen as weakness

her Aries temper undoubtedly would blow


She was so strong willed and positive

always smiling, and filled with love

I miss her so much and can only hope

we'll be together again someday up above
