Manyoshu I Will Write Songs On Ten Thousand Leaves

Man'yōshū, I will sing songs for Ten Thousand Leaves

Somonka is a love song retrieved, received gift of Kanshi in Haien court, counting,
Somonka smoked steams from melting sunlight, courting;
It talked to the hand, pointing at the tunnel vision, the crest,
facing the tree, that was restricting the res publica to leave and rest.

Beautiful woman, Manyoushu are your love poems, live longer
with ten thousand leaves, weaves of songs, stronger,
Seeping into the cracks in the petals of frost flowers,
Shi, diplomats of time a great poetry, stead weeps.
Manyoushu I will write songs on ten thousand leaves.
