Many Faces Many Places. Poem by Cecilia Parkin

Many Faces Many Places.

'Hi Jesus, where can I find you'the young man said
Mobile phone at his ear as on his way he sped.
Jesus replied all quiet and calm
'I am here all days, as I was sent.
I wave no banner, have no band
to announce me as I walk the land.
I can be in a smile, a word a touch.
A train, a pub, a Church.a 'bus.
I can be in your father, mother, brother, son,
Your inner conscience in the race you run.
I can be in the sun, the wind, the rain,
The life blood surging through your veins.
I can be everywhere!
Not just a man with a bearded face
crook in hand, white robes to grace.
I am MORE than that! .
