Man And The Universe Poem by Yvonne Goss

Man And The Universe

There are mysteries held by darkness,
That we sometimes can't understand.
So we go and seek the answers,
For that is the nature of man.

Man is always reaching in the distance,
To find the secrets of the unknown.
To learn the nature of the Universe,
This, the place he calls his home.

The heavens are filled with wonders,
And we try so hard to comprehend.
Scattered by God throughout the Universe,
Are things often beyond the knowledge of men.

From man's earliest beginnings,
He has looked to the stars in awe.
Something stirring from within him,
Though not understanding the things he saw.
