Mal D'Amour (A Broken Heart) Or Where Is Freud When I Need Him Poem by Sandra Feldman

Mal D'Amour (A Broken Heart) Or Where Is Freud When I Need Him

Rating: 4.9

In the Solitude of Nothing,
Time in Time, just lingers on,
And the Emptiness of Nothing,
Feels, just like a dying Swan.

To be void of all that's feeling,
A blank page, depression on,
Finds me staring at the ceiling,
For I know that Love is gone.

In my heart emotions reeling,
Of just sadness and despair,
For I know your disappearing,
Means that, you were never there.

As the loneliness, a Shadow,
Casts it's claw upon my soul,
I retreat into a narrow,
Dark and all depressing hole.

Like a candle near the Ocean,
Trying to escape it all,
It's light only in slow motion,
Isn't any light at all.

Then the Wind of Truth confronts me,
Blows a cold slap in my face,
And I wake up trembling, crying,
Gone forever, your Embrace.

Then the Wind of Truth confronts me, Blows a cold slap in my face, And I wake up trembling, crying, Gone forever, your Embrace Gloom and melancholy give us sometimes a stark realization that we have been dispossessed!
