Maiden Voyage Poem by Saurabh Shalabh

Maiden Voyage

Free from the prison,
Takin’ a new vision.
Free from the cage –
A maiden voyage!

Towards the sea,
Heart with glee.
Have a great delight,
For the first flight.

At the deck;
At night.
In the moon light-pale.
A race with a whale!

In the dark:
A chat with a shark,
Alone at the ship,
Alone at the deck.

Towards the destination,
Without any hesitation.
Carrying a new craze
A maiden voyage!

Sitting at the deck,
At night.
Feeling the blowing wind
Feeling the flowing ocean.

Forgetting the bygone-era,
Forgetting the world.
Towards a new age –
A maiden voyage! ! !
