Het glas is half vol
of is het half leeg
op hoge leeftijd
kan het overlopen
of droog staan,
dat heet vrije associatie
van de geest
of contemplatie;
want wil je
werkelijk leren
of eenvoudigweg
alleen maar consumeren! ?
