Magic Words Poem by J.B. LeBuert

Magic Words

Rating: 4.5

You spoke those magic words of love
They struck me like a ton of bricks
I wondered if you were playing tricks
Please don’t

Your sweet voice calms my soul
I only needed you, near to me
That’s what really set me free
To be in your heart, was my only goal

The words were magic when they came from you
I wanted to hear them day or night
As long as you were in my sight
Others spoke them and they didn't seem true

Magic words spoken only by you

Feelings and thoughts are expressed through words and body language. When words touch the recesses of ones heart favourably, they become magic words. A nice poem. Keep it up. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
