M-M-M-M-Meum Poem by Brian Taylor

M-M-M-M-Meum

That ivory head
with flattened nose
dropping like a plummet
from scythe-cut brows
to a girl’s lips,
old man’s smile
and thumbnail eyes painted black.

A fat Chinese satyr
in the fretwork crown.

You say it’s yours?

You know,
the previous one said that
