Lunar Kindred Poem by Spirit Music Hope

Lunar Kindred

Rating: 5.0

In the depths of night, I find my soul ensnared,
Memories surge, relentless waves of emotion,
Of a lover lost, consumed by devotion.
By the radiant moon, a constant affair.
We, two souls bound by our lunar obsession,
Lost in celestial dreams, a shared possession.
In the moon's ethereal glow, we found solace,
A tapestry of passion, our hearts' true palace.

But fate's cruel hand intervened, tore us asunder,
Leaving naught but echoes of love and thunder.
And now, I wander through nights filled with pain,
Haunted by the moon, a bittersweet refrain.

The moon, a mirror of my soul's reflection,
I search its face for signs, a resurrection.
Yet its luminescence mocks my desperate plea,
Reminding me of what can never be.

Oh, how I long to trace your steps in the sky,
To see your eyes glimmer, as we whispered goodbye.
But destiny's decree keeps us worlds apart,
Leaving me with shattered dreams and a broken heart.

So, I retreat into the depths of my mind,
Where memories of you I fervently bind.
In the moonlit realm of introspection,
I yearn for solace, a soul's resurrection.

The moon's alluring gaze whispers of love's demise,
As I search for answers beneath starlit skies.
And though I'm haunted by your ghostly embrace,
The moon's melancholy beams still leave their trace.

In this solitude, I find strength to endure,
To cherish what was, and let go of what's impure.
For deep within, a flicker of hope remains,
That love, like the moon, shall transcend all pains.

So, I'll dance with shadows, beneath the moon's might,
Embracing memories, both bitter and bright.
In this dramatic reverie, I'll find release,
As the moon bears witness to my inner peace.
