Can you smell what I can smell…

Can you feel what I can feel…

Can you reach out and touch what I can…

The tender thoughts of time are sealed

Your heart is held in my mind now too

While love works wonders all healed

Now sit a while and have a drink, smile

Knowing all is not lost, however unforgiving

Don’t forget life’s treasures, enjoy it awhile

Most friends are loving and truly giving

There are many ways in life, past and today

But hold the ones dearly who gave the most

For it will always be there even if held at bay

So think of a friend, now proudly make a toast

All forgiven, surrender and dear, dear friend
