Lover Under A Coppice Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

Lover Under A Coppice

Under
The coppice
The two lovers
Kissed

One round of
Kisses
And embraces
Yielded
To another round.

Time did not pass!

In the eye of
The maid
A child shines!

In the muscles
Of manhood
Each embrace
Begets more
- and sweeter!

In the silence
Of the garden
The couple
Grow sweeter
Bolder
The moon
Smiles benign
And
Wishes best!
