Lover's Day Poem by Elisha De La Rosa

Lover's Day

Rejoice, shall the birds sing
For Lover's day comes to a meet
Love is what lovers suppose to bring
Break ups linger to the beat

Lover's Day should it be
Not hate and sadness that fills the air
Yet uncertain smiles it seems to me
As he gives his lover a rose and a teddy bear

It's always the same
Feelings have been plunder
Usually an blame
For an lover to breakup for another

Yet the bright side
Of this Lover's Day
For your lover is your pride
Tell your lover your feelings in your way

Love is a plague
For it's natural ability to stung
The gloomy, to a wreck
Lover's Day is a song

The sky will be appealing
Love them by their personality
The sun will be shining
Love them, let alone their beauty

The bind shall grow
Love is the truth to be told
For that's what Lover's day is known
In the puriness of it's hold

Like a drug to the heart
Lover stand together
Or stand apart
So to be 'Lover'
