O God, like the earth
loved by light in dawns, sunsets—
this how you see us?
if that is how He sees us, then He bathes us in beautiful hues, doesn't He? ? ? ! ! ! Very fresh and original poem, Glen! I am looking forward to reading more of your work!

Is there anything more beautiful than light, especially during the 'changing of the guard'? You mean God wraps or embraces the earth with sunrises and sunsets? And loves us in a similar way?
dawn and sunset are my favorite times of day. as you say, the lighted landscape is so beautiful, the shadows contribute rather than take from the beauty. -glen
