Love, The Journey Of Emotions Poem by James Darwin Smith II

Love, The Journey Of Emotions

A fork of a river diverges
One goes outward towards the sea
The other into unknown origins
Both seeking separate dreams

The sea was found quickly

The unknown origins
So dry and dirty
Without an ending
Though it seems

The seaward explorer finds
That is so much more
To this ocean
Of endless love and devotion
The dreams of many dreams

The explorer of unknown origins
Drying out and dwindling away
Evaporating at a fast pace
There is no hope here

Seaward explorer of the ocean
Feels so alone
Even with there being so much to see

Now the unknown is barren
The heat above
Has taken its toll
But it keeps going on

The explorer starts feeling
A need to go back
To find the barren one
That is greatly missed
By a love once deemed for eternity

An adventure to the unknown
Sacrificing the oceanic sea waters
It collected
From the dreams and ambitions
That for which it thought
True love truly came from
On and on drying out
But still determined
Finding small traces of water
Not too much
But something
To keep it going

It took some time
Because the evaporation
Slowed it down
But low and behold
It sees in the distance
The unfortunate drying out
But there is still something to behold

The connection is met
A new lake has been formed
Love beyond anything
Straight into the center of dreams

They thought they did not need each other
So wrong, both were of course
Now they feel better than ever before
Unified as a lake full of love and devotion

This bond so strong
That nothing could ever dry it out

This lake is eternal
And so is its love

Sparkling on
From the sun

Emotions fulfilled
In the never ending depths of love

The beauty of nature

Unified by love

Beyond and beyond
Beyond it all

All is beautiful
In this journey of emotions
In the journey of love

Two bodies as one
