Love That I Never Got Poem by Pushp Sirohi

Love That I Never Got

In the depths of my heart, a bittersweet ache,
A love that I yearned for, but never could take.
Like a whispered dream that slipped through my grasp,
A love that unfolded, then faded too fast.

In the recesses of my soul, a longing profound,
For a love that was lost, nowhere to be found.
It danced in my dreams, a tantalizing gleam,
But reality shattered, like a shattered moonbeam.

Oh, the love that I never got, it lingers still,
A poignant reminder of an unfulfilled thrill.
In the corridors of my heart, its echo remains,
A love that haunts me, like soft, lingering strains.

Yet, in the absence of love, there's strength to be found,
A resilience that lifts me from sorrow's profound.
For the love that eluded me taught me to grow,
To cherish the blessings that life does bestow.

Though I yearn for a love that may never be mine,
I embrace the beauty in moments divine.
For love comes in many forms, in its own disguise,
And it's the love we give that truly magnifies.

So I'll hold onto hope, even if love's not my fate,
And cherish the love I encounter, however late.
For in the vast tapestry of life's intricate art,
I'll find love's essence, even in a fragmented heart.

The love that I never got, it shaped who I am,
A testament to resilience, like a warrior's ram.
And though it may sting, this love I couldn't hold,
I'll cherish the lessons, as my story unfolds.
