"Do you know me well enough to love me? "
The meteorite said to the scorched Earth
In 30 years time, a prediction of a possible change in attitude

"Have you known me long enough to love me? "
The blissful, the lucky face the challenge of consistency
Unleashed from following a mom and dad blueprint
We hold hands with more than one person in this time

Finding a role model for big persistence
Without a role model, I'm thrown spinning into continual romantic reinvention
And that's how I found love to be a rollercoaster
The kind that does the loop de loop, the corkscrew
What fun! What terror!
