So many words bounced around in my head
words that played but refused to come out.
I was scared, confused, full of dread
I kept all my walls up, consumed in my doubt
Then I met you and everything changed
My heart skipped to a whole new beat
My soul and mind got rearranged
You're the reason I'm still on my feet.
It feels so real, it feels so right
and despite the odds, its worth the fight!
Time against us, miles between us
nothing can ever keep us apart
because its you that holds the key to my heart.

The tune that dances in your ear?
Listen, baby, and hold on strong
you make me play a whole new song.
I think I love you, so I won't take defeat
I know I love you, so I can take the heat.
You love me, too. The song stays on repeat
I waited for this for oh so long
to hear my soul, to play my love song.
