Love So Devine Poem by samantha brooks

Love So Devine

Your black eyes look into mine,
With love so precious and devine.
You softly whisper in my ear,
Telling me what you think I wanna hear.

You left me laying in the night,
Left me to suffer without a fight.
I told you I loved you, and needed you too;
Now I don't no what to do.

My love for you was nothing more,
Yet, here you are at my door.
Why did you have to come back to me?
Were you trying to fill me up with worthless glee?

How wrong you have thought,
Yet here I am caught,
Between your love and mine,
As I look into your eyes;
With love so precious,
With love so precious and devine.
