Fearing own character to satisfy perfection,
Yet it's not your perfection that causes my affection.
Hannah, I love all the pieces of your puzzle-pieced soul,
Or else this heart of yours I wouldn't have stole.

I love all of who you are, and I love more each day,
Learning more about you, more reasons to love you in a different way.
Don't be nervous, don't be shy, it's just... this being that you are,
You deserve more love than I could give from afar.

I've given you all of my insecurities, every single one,
And you have given me yours, but that doesn't mean we're done.
There's still many words that we both fear to say,
And no matter how long it takes, I'll always be here to stay.

There's nothing wrong with who you are or how you look,
Everything is perfect, I'm no closed book.
I'll tell you anything and everything I know you want,
Because they're always true, all that beauty you flaunt.

You may not feel like you show off when you are yourself,
But baby, look at you! Always in my thoughts when I'm by myself.
Always in the hearts of those around you, always your beautiful being,
Ask anybody, no matter what day, you're always worth seeing.

But I know they don't know you, not the way I do,
And I know their opinions might not matter to you.
But it's the same way with me that I see with my eyes,
Not a normal way, though, not like the other guys.

I see you as the other piece of me, the part that always remained true,
I see you as part of my puzzle, who can love like no one else can do.
We share so many special qualities that reflect you so well,
Which is why I'm happy you came out of your shell.

If not for them, for me… and you might come out more,
I can already tell, it'll happen for sure.
With you and me together, it's bound to happen,
For our love burns with the greatest passion

That no one else can feel, no one else will know,
And I pity them, for without love, life seemed so slow.
But now I have you,
A love so strong, a love so new, a love forever worth holding on to.
