Love's End Poem by Adelia Rudiyanto

Love's End

What we once worshipped
Has now become less overrated
The power we once depend on
Has now become much weaker
Even the lights that use to shine upon us
Has now become bleaker
We’re emotionally detached
And our future’s leaving us further apart
We’re hanging on a loose string
And our doubt is no longer a secret
We’ve lost each others touch
But we refuse to reach for each others hands
This must come to an end
Why trying so hard to pretend?
If we no longer feel the sparks
Then let it vanish without any marks
It has been defeated
It has been liberated
Our love has finally ended
