upon a lonely road i stroll
emotional depths of life taking its toll...
somewhere between here and there i fell
...fastened to her amorous allure
...locked in a cell
with a love so pure

stretching to the end of the earth
there is no place i wont travel...
extending my assets worth
...leaving fate to unravel

lacking the knowledge of its course
...trusting in destiny
i continue with no remorse...

fearful it might not go as dreamt
i still gaze with emerald eyes...
transfixed by soul tempt
...inept at cutting ties

punctured by my yearning...
i remain in pain
...eternal fire burning
with many wounds to contain...

elixir of duration
leaving scars ingrained
...the veiled situation
of a love refrained...
