I sit right next to you
& still you don’t see me
All you see is someone
Who isn’t there
& never will

You will have to chase after him
But still I’ll sit by you
No matter what
I accept your decisions
But you still wish to go

Part of me wants
To say nothing The other though Wants to say: “Don’t go!
I love you”

But if I say either
I know you will still
Chase after him &
When he tells you
That he doesn’t care about you
Your heart will break
Like mine is now
When you get through grieving
You might remember me
I will have also cried
Like I do nightly
Because you are leaving
Or because you left
But if you don’t hurry back
I will be gone living my life
Trying to forget you
But deep down I’ll always love you

Even if you will never love me &
That’s what hurts the most
You are lost in this dream boy
Who isn’t what you dream him to be
If you try to change him, he won’t change
He won’t change for anyone
Not even you
He’ll stay on this path until he dies

I wish you could see how I really feel
Who doesn’t even exist the way you see him
When I’m standing right here
Wanting you
If you could only see how I feel
You would feel my love
That I feel for you

But you are putting me through hell too
Because I know you’ll never care for me
The way I care for you

Love is a hunger and
I’m starving for yours
But you’ll break my heart
& he’ll break yours
I know I should give up
On this endless pursuit
But something deep down is driving me

It is like I am Spring
Dying for Summer
But Summer wants fall
& fall doesn’t care for Summer
& after Summer has trampled Spring’ heart
It will go on beating for the love it holds

But never willing to say aloud the words,
“I’ll always love you even if you never know”........

In time I will erase your memories..... as if you never existed....
