Love Of The Light From The Dark Poem by K J

Love Of The Light From The Dark

am the dark,
You are the light.
Two things that are not meant to be,
But why do I love you.

It's true,
Opposites attracted.
But if one is heartless,
And the other has a heart.

What is to come of this,
I do not know.
As I sit in here pondering,
You sit there clueless.

In this world there are things,
Love happiness Death decay.
But what if the two mixed,
What would happen.

I know I have a heart,
I'm not suppose to have one.
If this is true why do I love,
If opposites attract then why do you not like me.

I spend my days understanding human emotion,
You spend your days experiencing it.
Tell me,
Is love good.

Tell me,
Is it suppose to be painful.
Tell me,
Do you love me?

In this world there are things, Love happiness Death decay. But what if the two mixed, What would happen. These lines speak volumes. I like all your poems dracula but this particular one draws me in time and time again. Wonderful i truely enjoyed it. ES
