I'm writing a poem for you
On a piece of paper written in blue
Read these lines and I hope you'll realize
My love, by your heart not just by your eyes

If only you could be me then you'll know how I feel
My love for you is for real
My love is unconditional, no one can change it
I want us together, making ends meet

You are what I need, even though you may not need me
The reason why I'm trying to make you see
That I'm really worth your love so please
Try to understand my love and all these

Maybe this paper will end up in a bin
Or burnt so that it'll never again be seen
But my love will never be destroyed
You can hold on to my words, sincerely yours
