thats where it all started
it keeps on moving
Presley, Orbison, Berry, Richard
just going one step further
the love of it moves on up
moves forward to the next level
Beatles, Stones, Kinks, Who
what do you know if you don't know that
you don't love it if you can't understand them
Dylan, Young, Hendrix
keeping that ball rolling
keeping the love throwing through the rhyme
Sabbath, Zeppelin, Doors, Stooges
everything on top form making something knew
something knew to fall in love with all over again
Dolls, Pistols, Clash, Ramones
spreading a message
a message that they all spread
Division, Order, Cure
all just one word
all mean the same thing
Metallica, Megadeth
same thing, all about the same thing
Scratch, Marley, Bowie, Elton
they all love to do the same thing
they all love to open up there arms
Smiths, Stone Roses, Guns N'
all good fun, all doing it for the love
Nirvana, Oasis, Jam, Pearl, Blur
they kept it going
brought new love to it
made it more important
Libertines, Monkeys, Leon
thats where we are now
thats what we love now

i'm sorry but i cant
theres just no way i can love it
