why do we want to feel love?
to feel the warm embrace of a mate?
when love is as fleeting as a moment lost in time.
the warm embrace turns to fiery rage.
and when it ends there stands one hurt and one with guilt.
no one endures the trials of love unscathed.
all who know the pain of losing the person most dear to them,
are the people who have truly lived life to the fullest.
for what could complete life more then sorrow?
lying awake at night crying.
spending hours just sitting there rocking back and forth.
holding onto your friend throughout the day as they try and comfort you.
love brings such joy to some.
but to others it is a poison.
it causes unending pain.
and it is deadly.
