Love Is Blind Poem by Jo Lee

Love Is Blind

Rating: 5.0

Love makes you blind,
but still you pursuit it like a precious dime.
What you pursuit, has taken root - deep.
Happily, prosperious, with a smile you fall asleep.

The world is no longer of concern,
it's your pursuit, your happiness, finally your lucky turn.
Loving each nights warm embrace,
just to wake up and kiss her beautiful face.
Loving how her kiss makes your heart skip a beat or two,
like it crashed into your chest and wanted to break through.

Under the cloak of a new relationship,
a falseness awaits
ready to sink this ship.

As love can make you blind,
it suppresses the danger,
warned by your subconscious mind.

Your ride in the skies
ends painfully caused by these lies.
You feel left out in despair
with emotions too heavy to bear.

so many times
your defences fall, torn, ripped a part
yet your the fool, still wanting to love

with all of your heart
