Love Had No Boundaries Poem by Joyce Hemsley

Love Had No Boundaries

Standing all alone, inflexible as stone,
Giving in to no-one, mind firmly fixed.
Not the type to fall in love, Nature knows,
To consider him a dreamer was dismissed.

But 'Beauty' stood beside him ~ made an impact.
For she possessed a calm and elegance.
'Take care' he thought, 'love is around the corner'
Adament, he gave her not one glance.

Yet each night, he was forever mindful.
In dreams, the magic would not let him go.
And one fine day, as she smiled, he weakened.
On bended knee, he had to let her know.

In reality, his loving knew no bounds
And before he realised, he had said it all...
Not the type to fall in love? Heavens above!
His soul was in the trance of nature's law.

She was his pure white dove, sweet and fair.
And they were lost in love I do declare!
Two innocent hearts joined together
Their wondrous words filled the midnight air.
