Love Gone Poem by Tondana Fatimah Seebaway

Love Gone

Rating: 4.0

The break of a brand new dawn
The beckoning of yet another morn
My beloved is long gone
Can't help but feel all alone

The vacuum it creates in my heart
The tears that well up in my eyes
The thoughts, the worries, the uneasiness
All add up to my restlessness

If from my beloved I could hear
And be sure he is safe
If the day will draw near
For me to see his face

I go down in prostration
And lift my hands in the air
To God I lay my frustration
Please keep him safe my dear

A beautiful poem! Punctuation marks would have made it better.
