Love Glass And Lace Poem by Arno Le Roux

Love Glass And Lace

Thank you Daryl Vermaak for the title suggestion.

Love Glass and Lace

Hugged by the dimmer softer rays of night
Praying for those heated breaths applied
Been the reason her heart beat still busying a fight
All the feels kept secret for years her denied

Freedom now the chains of old habits finally broke
Alone just them in a whole new orbit far away
The soft kisses of new love a roaring fire stoke
A half rotation of this new world before the light of day

A glassy tower sixty times way from judgement
Looking at themselves before the city's red wash in
Reflections blurr as the east announce an end
To wild emotional sleepless hours just began
