Love From Long Ago



Beautiful music
from far-distant shores
sent to beguile
the one she adores...
sweet songs of yesterday
recorded through time
with meaningful words
of love in its prime.
Often he listens
with a tear and a sigh
for love songs remind him
of the truth in her eye.
But beautiful music
with lyrics divine
maybe sung many times
and faraway love
will always shine.
