Love Poem by Divya John

Love

Love got
Exposed thoughts
Like dense vapour
That did quiver
To ascend
The high clouds
And stay suspended
In the sky.

Love given
Imposed words
Like heavy drops
Of condensed rain
That did long
To descend
On dry sand
And wet land.

Love forgotten
And love got
Like light winds
Unsaturated
And saturated
Danced in tune
And in rhythm
Within four walls.

Love forgiven
And love given
Like zig-zag waves
Ascended
And descended
Then ascended again
To sing a song
The song of endurance.

An insightful depiction of the whimsical and temperamental nature of love, well articulated and nicely penned. Thanks for sharing.
