Lost Love Poem by Ellie Collins

Lost Love

Rating: 4.0

I loved you,
Everything,
I loved the way you held me,
The way you said goodnight,
I love you still,
In the sense that you were mine,
And I miss it,
More than you'll ever know,
I miss the way you loved me,
The way I loved you back,
But I hated you,
Once we said goodbye,
I hated that we couldn't talk,
I hated that I wouldn't get you back,
To tell you I missed you,
That I loved you,
Just one last time,
But you didn't care,
At least not anymore,
Or ever,
I suppose,
I hated you for that,
Most of all,
I hate that I still love you.
