Lost

I have no one,
With whom to share,
My thoughts to compare
My likes or dislikes,
My doubts or cares,
The Times that were,
Past, Present, Future,
I just don't care,
Living out of Time,
In the Land of Anywhere.

    Guess we all feel like this from time to time. Nothing more to add - I know you, and you know me Sandra. Well penned. (Report) Reply

    It's during these times that you find it hard to connect or where others seem to lack the willingness to connect to you that humans should take that time for self reflection. Since all we really have in this world is our time and thoughts and it feels as though even those are gifted to us or just unfold through nature to us as well. Don't mean to come across as preachy in this comment but I found in life when nobody seems to want to be my friend or friends get so caught up in their world and lives that reflection within my own life and finding happiness within myself and the things around me whatever it might be lifted my spirits and brought me back to myself again.

    It's nice to have that alone time but most don't like to be alone ALL the time. but when you do have that time enjoy it cause you never know when your life will become so busy that you can't even take a moment for yourself. Really enjoyed this, Allan Gerard~ (Report) Reply

Poem of the Day

poet Helen Hunt Jackson

The month of carnival of all the year,
When Nature lets the wild earth go its way,
And spend whole seasons on a single day.
The spring-time holds her white and purple dear;
