Lost Poem by Phil Soar

Lost

I drank the water from the stream
to stop the dehydration
Lost for days in wilderness
In some dark far off nation
We walked for days in silence
lost and out of place
Until that stream came into view
I splashed it on my face
The feeling of elation
the breath of life restored
Time to find our way back home
The turmoil now endured
