Loss Poem by Ray Hansell

Loss

So many things in life
Have quickly passed me by
The years are rolling past
Like the blink of an eye

My younger year's have left me
With only memories
When I sit back and close my eyes
Victories are all I see

As I remember it
I never lost at all
But than again remember
In my memories I never fall

But the biggest loss in my life
Are not the years gone by
It was the day I lost her
Ever since that day I cry
