Losing You Poem by 0 (Zero) ...

Losing You

Rating: 3.0

I lay beside your death bed, knowing someday you'll wake.
I know that your heart is just so pure, your life's not one death can take.

I whisper in your ear, saying that things will be okay.
'I love you' is too weak a sentence to describe the emotions that I wish I could say.

The doctors are fools, the whole lot of them, saying you have no will to live.
I promise you, that on the day that you wake up, I'll give to you all I can give.

So when I wake to your scream in the middle of the night, and see that your pulse has just stopped, just that fast.
I cry out in dispair, in pain oh so fair, that I knew that I'd lost you at last.
