LORD HELP MY COUNTRY

Oh Lord, please help my country
Find some much needed peace
For fury and hopelessness is brewing
So many harsh feelings are released.

Please help our world stabilize
Two sides and perhaps more
We are like two ships passing
That cannot find their way to shore.

I know it will not last forever though
But damage I'm afraid will prevail
And then take time for healing
How long is hard to tell.
